wire that we manufacture here on site. Our largest wire offering is a substanial #6. Then we progress down the 8 sizes to Shady
Side Bonsai's original creation #22, for the most delicate branch wiring. You may ask why is it double annealed? From
time to time when copper wire is on the fire it can have spots where the temperature did not get quite up to the rest
of the coils temperature, leaving stiff spots in the copper. We take the extra step in our quality control and anneal
it a second time. We want the wire you buy from us to be as soft and supple as it can possibly be when your wiring a future
or present masterpiece.
Double
annealed copper is as soft and easy to work as aluminum. Each time you work the branch a little more
the wire hardens. This copper has approximately 75% more holding power than aluminum of the same approximate thickness. The
natural ruddy brown color from annealing will fade and become almost invisible on the tree.
